He has been in practice since July 1998 when he was hired by an Internist in solo practice. He began managing that practice in 1998 and has owned the practice since January 2000. Over the years he has employed as many as seven doctors of Internal Medicine at one time. He has since decided that a smaller, more intimate office and patient panel allows him to provide the quality healthcare he feels is most beneficial for his patients.
He has served Virginia Hospital in many capacities including Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Vice Chief of Staff, a member of the Medical Executive committee and numerous other committee positions. He has been instrumental in the selection process for the keynote speaker for the Dr. Dolan Lecture for many years.
Dr. Correnty has been a Washingtonian Top Doctor in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 and most recently September 2015. He has also been listed in Checkbook Magazine several times.
